Reservation

Bookings are binding once the booking confirmation is received by the hotel.

Reservation includes breakfast buffé, wifi, bed linen, towel, bathrobe, shared shower/wc and toilets. Free access to fully equipped kitchen, fridge, micro, oven.

Check-In
Check-in from 3:00 pm
Please inform Hotell Gamla Fängelset in advance if you plan to arrive after 6:00 pm

Check-out latest at 11:00 am

Registration of foreign guests
According to the Swedish Aliens Ordinance, the managers of hotels are obliged to make sure that
foreigners provide information about themselves on personally signed registration forms. The foreigner
shall confirm his or her identity by producing a valid identity document. These rules are based on the
Schengen agreement within the EU.

Cancellation
In case of cancellation after 6:00 pm the day before arrival day or no-show you will be
charged for the first night. 
Minimum age: 18 years without an adult.  Exceptions apply during “Brännbollsyran”,
a local event in Umeå in May. Age: 20 years (ID-control).

Payment – No cash – Credit Cards accepted
You pay at the reception upon arrival or in the morning agreed by the hotel.
Hotell Gamla Fängelset accept: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Maestro.

Children and extra beds
0-2 years: SEK 100 per child per stay (cot)  
2 years +: SEK 200 per person per night

The maximum number of extra beds and cots permitted depends on the room you choose
